Darkspace Incursion: The Fleet Without a Flag

A Ship Without a Flag
One moment, the space near an alliance homeworld is empty. The next, a dark ship appears on the Galaxy Map. It offers no warning and bears no insignia that anyone can place.
Commanders call these attacks the Darkspace Incursion. Whether the ship is a scout, a weapon, or the first sign of something larger remains unknown. Then its fleets begin to move, and the question of where it came from must wait.
When the Fleet Moves
During the 24-hour event window, an Alliance Owner or General can begin one run. The ship appears near the activating commander's home, giving the alliance five minutes to prepare. Twenty escalating waves then launch across the Galaxy Map, one every two minutes. Their incoming marches are visible as they approach participating commanders' bases.
These are fleet attacks, not just ground assaults. Interceptors and Cruisers carry Rangers, Guardians, and Phantoms into battle, with Battleships joining later waves. Each arrival tests both space and ground defenses and leaves a battle report behind.
The Alliance Is the Defense
Reinforcements can keep a threatened world in the fight. Defeated participants stop receiving new waves, but they can still support surviving allies. Every invading unit destroyed contributes to individual points, and reinforcement contributions earn bonus points.
Participating defenders' event losses become injuries, with any remaining event injuries restored when the alliance run ends. The top 100 commanders on the global leaderboard receive individual rewards including Astromite, Credits, and Catalyst Dust.
What Remains Unanswered
The ship disappears when the run ends. It leaves no answer about who sent it, what it was looking for, or whether more will follow. For now, alliances can study its attacks, watch the map, and prepare for the next incursion.
