The Territory Update: Build an Empire Worth Defending

Your alliance has new ground to claim. Territory Relays turn the Galaxy Map into a frontier of connected regions, with income, intelligence, and gathering benefits for the alliances that hold them.

What Changes for Your Alliance?

  • Conquer regions. Take permanent relays with solo Galaxy fleets or alliance rallies.
  • Build a frontier. Defend outer relays to protect the territory behind them.
  • Make ownership useful. Earn treasury resources, gather faster, and reveal bases inside your regions.
Plan your frontier in the strategic overview. Open Layers to adjust borders, owner labels, and object visibility. Game UI shown with staged preview holdings.

Your First Conquest, in Three Steps

  1. Choose a reachable relay. Join an alliance, check the target's protection, and scout its defenders. Your planetary shield must be disabled before scouting or attacking.
  2. Send your fleet. Attack alone or organize a Galaxy rally. Defeat the defenders to begin occupation.
  3. Hold for one real hour. Reinforce with your allies while the timer runs. Allied arrivals preserve the timer, and surviving troops stay to defend the completed conquest.
Bring allies to the target and keep enough troops there to finish the occupation. Game UI shown with staged fleet movements.

What You Earn by Holding a Relay

Basic relays

100,000
100,000
100,000

Per full day, paid into your alliance treasury.

Resource relays

2,500
250

Per full day, replacing basic resource income. Look for the diamond-core marker.

About one quarter of relays are resource relays. Income starts after conquest completes and is proportional to ownership time.

  • Faster gathering: Alliance members gather 10% faster from resource nodes inside an owned relay region, outside Vault home areas.
  • Regional surveillance: See player bases, names, and alliance tags inside your region on the strategic map. Scouts are still needed to reveal troops and resources.

Defend the Border Before Expanding

  • Frontier battles: Neutral and unshielded frontier relays can be attacked at any time.
  • Core Territory: A relay surrounded by regions owned by the same alliance is protected from direct attack. Enemies must breach the frontier first.
  • Relay shields: Owners and Generals can activate 24 hours of protection, with a 72-hour cooldown from activation. Activate before hostile occupation or incoming enemy fleets and rallies prevent it.

Start with three relay slots, shared by owned relays and ongoing conquests. Territory Relay Limit research adds five slots per level, up to 53. Choose holdings your alliance can reinforce.

Stations and the Nexus Matter Too

Trading Stations and the Galactic Nexus also have regions on the overview. They keep their own conquest rules and rewards, use no relay slots, and now provide passive alliance treasury income for completed Station ownership and the crowned Nexus owner.

Open the Galaxy Map, switch to the strategic overview, and pick a frontier your alliance can defend together.
