Territories

Understand relay regions, frontier and Core Territory, shields, alliance treasury income, surveillance, and Vault home areas.

Conquer objectives to claim regions, earn alliance income, and protect your frontier. Choose territory your allies can reinforce.

Find Your Territory

Open the Galaxy Map's strategic overview, then Layers → Territories. Colors show each region's owner. Double-click an objective to zoom in and check its protection, defenders, and benefits. Capturing it changes ownership, not the region's shape.

Territory Types

TerritoryWhat it gives your alliance
RelayTreasury income, visible player bases in its region, and +10% gathering speed outside Vault home areas. Scout for troop and resource details.
Trading StationTrade-tax control, ownership rewards, treasury income, regional base visibility, and +10% gathering speed until ownership expires.
Galactic NexusRegional base visibility and +10% gathering speed follow current control. Contest rewards and treasury income remain with the crowned champion.
Vault home area+10% attack and defense for allied troops fighting there. Blocks enemy base teleportation into the area.

Relays, Trading Stations, and the Nexus reveal player bases in their controlled regions and grant +10% gathering speed outside Vault home areas. These regions add no combat bonus or teleport restriction.

Capture and Defend Relays

  • Capture: Join an alliance, disable your planetary shield, and defeat the defenders with a solo Galaxy fleet or rally. Hold for one real hour; allied reinforcements preserve the timer.
  • Frontier: Neutral and unshielded border relays can be attacked anytime.
  • Core Territory: A relay is protected from enemy attacks and scouting when every adjacent region belongs to its alliance. Enemies must take a neighboring region first. This protects the relay, not player bases inside its region.
  • Shield: Owners and Generals can activate 24-hour relay protection, with a 72-hour cooldown from activation. Hostile occupation or incoming enemy fleets and rallies prevent activation.

Stations and the Nexus follow their own conquest rules. Follow the links above for each objective's details.

Income starts after completed ownership and scales with time held. It goes automatically to the alliance treasury for research; no personal claim is needed. Diamond-core resource relays produce rare resources instead of basic resources.

Expand Within Your Capacity

Start with three relay slots. Owned relays and ongoing captures share them. Territory Relay Limit research adds five slots per level, up to 53. Stations, the Nexus, and Vaults use no relay slots.

Territory Size research expands your Vault home area. It does not enlarge relay regions.
