How It Works
Standard Portal Missions require waiting for fleet travel and battle simulation, followed by a return delay for surviving forces. Using an Instant Portal Mission resolves the encounter in real time immediately upon deployment:
- Combat simulation is executed instantly with full research, cores, and damage calculations.
- Battle reports and mission rewards (resources, influence, task progress) are delivered immediately.
- Surviving ground units return directly to your base ready pool with zero travel or return cooldown.
Usage & Constraints
Instant resolution can only be used on standard open Portal Missions. It cannot be used on Encrypted Caches or Subspace Anomalies. You can trigger it directly from the unit deployment dialog via the Instant Resolve button.
