Astromite is a crystalline structure highly prized for its durability and energy-conducting properties. Astromite Mining research is required to mine these asteroids; each level permits one concurrent Astromite mining operation. These asteroids lack Portal access and must be reached via the Galaxy Map using mining fleets. When 10% or less of an asteroid's original resource amount remains, it is removed and a replacement asteroid appears at a new random location.
