Fight alongside alliance members in repeated Galaxy rallies during an Ephoran Vault's active window. Your own damage earns milestone rewards when the event ends.
What you need
Join the alliance that owns the vault and prepare ready space units. Galaxy fleets can also carry ground troops when they have enough transport capacity. Have an available march slot and check your personal vault cooldown. Vault combat uses alliance rallies, so a solo attack is not the way to participate.
New commanders can join an NPC faction first to learn from its organized runs. If you do not yet have a fleet, keep developing your Shipyard and units while learning the schedule and preparation steps.
1. Check when the event will start
For an NPC alliance, open your alliance page or select its vault on the Galaxy Map. The schedule panel shows the next event, a countdown, and local time alongside UTC. The start can wait for available NPC fleets, so check the active state rather than relying only on the scheduled hour.

For a player alliance, follow leadership's agreed time. An Owner or General activates the deployed vault. Its active combat window lasts 30 minutes; placing the vault earlier does not start that timer.
2. Gather close and prepare your fleet
Teleport near the alliance group before sending units away. Bring back gathering fleets and check that the units you want are ready. Keep sufficient ship transport capacity for any ground troops you select.
Rallies gather at the leader's location. Being close to the vault helps the leader's final attack; being close to the leader helps your joining fleet arrive before departure. Both journeys matter.
3. Join a rally after activation
Watch alliance chat for a vault rally card, open it, and choose the join action. Review the leader, destination, remaining preparation time, and available capacity. Select your fleet and send it only if it can arrive before departure.
NPC factions organize five-minute vault rallies when their fleets are available. You can join these or create your own from the active vault's Rally action. Leading needs at least one other participant for the rally to launch. NPC support depends on readiness and travel; it is not guaranteed for every rally.
Vault rallies are joined manually. Do not assume enabling ordinary rally auto-join will send your units to the vault.
4. Return, check your units, and rally again
After the attack, read the report and wait for surviving units to return. Check for injuries before committing another fleet. Members can make repeated attacks while the event is active, using their available units and march slots.
Allow enough time for the next rally's preparation and its trip to the vault to finish before the event ends. A new rally created near the deadline may not arrive in time. Your goal is to contribute damage, rather than destroy the entire vault force.
5. Check damage and claim the event rewards
Use Ranking in the vault menu to follow damage contributions. At the end, your rewards are the combined milestones reached by your own damage. Joining the alliance or standing near its vault alone does not earn damage rewards.
Open Reports after the event and claim the vault reward report. The vault reference lists the full milestone bundles. Vault damage is separate from Darkspace Incursion and Void Invasion scoring.
If you cannot take part
- No Rally action: check that this is your alliance's vault and that its event is active.
- Personal cooldown: previous vault participation can block another run. Check the displayed timer; switching alliances does not remove the personal cooldown.
- Cannot join in time: choose a later rally or move closer before the next event. A free place alone does not make a distant fleet eligible.
- No units available: wait for returning forces or recover injured units. Ships and transport capacity still matter.
You have completed the run when your contribution is recorded and its reward report is claimed. Next, read your alliance's preparation messages for Darkspace Incursion or Void Invasion. Those events have their own reinforcement, scoring, and survival rules.
